Carlo Costa was born in Rivoli, in the Italian province of Turin, in 1968. Married and father of two sons, lives in Fano.
With a passion for numbers and IT, obtained an honours degree in Business and Economics at Turin University, with a thesis on Historical Demography (partially published in “La popolazione italiana nel ‘600” CLUEB, Bologna, 1999).
In Turin, in 1996, joined Lavazza as assistant to the finance director, later assuming the position of company treasurer.
Still in Turin, in 2000, joined IFAS Gruppo SpA, one of Italy’s main automobile dealers, controlled by a Milanese venture capital firm. With IFAS Gruppo, which provides financial services directly to its dealers’ clients, held the position of treasurer and was responsible for the control of the finance companies, collaborating on strategic choices.
From 2001 was with Rimini Fiera as administration, finance and control director.
In 2006 also assumed the responsibility of personnel management: in this last role, planned, promoted and realized an in-depth transformation of the company’s contracts of employment, making the Rimini enterprise much more competitive on the market.
Costa also works on the international front, supervising the foreign activity regarding partnerships or acquisitions on foreign markets: has worked in the United States, Serbia, Hungary and, recently, in San Paolo for the acquisition of the leading expo in the environment sector, Fimai do Brasil.
Is a member of the board of several companies of the Rimini Fiera Group, for which he guided the corporate restructure in 2014, concluded with the incorporation in Rimini Fiera SpA of controlled companies working in the publishing and conference sectors.
Since 2016 to April 2018 he has been deputy general manager of Italian Exhibition Group SpA. Since May 2018 he has been appointed Group CFO.
